NC K-3 FAP Advisory Council

The Office of Early Learning depends on input and guidance from the field in order to provide the most relevant and meaningful support to the various NC stakeholders. Therefore, the NC K-3 Formative Assessment Process Advisory Council was established in 2013 for the purpose of informing and guiding the Office of Early Learning on the development and implementation of a formative assessment process for use in kindergarten through 3rd grade. Membership is diverse, with multiple stakeholders represented (teachers, families, administrators, coaches, college/university faculty) from all eight NC State Board of Education regions. The council meets approximately four times a year.

Membership information and meeting materials are posted below. For questions and/or inquiries about the Advisory Council, please contact Cindy Bagwell (cindy.bagwell@dpi.nc.gov) or Amy Scrinzi (amy.scrinzi@dpi.nc.gov).
